Iwas tempted --if they had longer rails to go with it

More good than bad with the newer Lidl Parkside 230V tools imo.

Collated pb screw gun - v.good

Multitool - can't fault it (well, quick change would be nice)

SDS drill - second one I got and this sounds as dog rough as the first I took back to exchange. Pity as looks and feels like a Bosch, really tough and well made. Feels "right". Will be going back for a refund I think.

I just bought a new Lidl multitool for £25  (the last one died after 10 years use)

I can confirm that tne present offering DOES have quick change.  I was pleasantly surprised.

Re track saws.  My joiner friend used one to cut my oak kitchen worktop to size.  What surprised me is he just laid the tracl on the wood and cut. No attempt at all to clamp the track in position.  I can only assume it has some sort of sticky / non slip backing?

Cheap one in @Onoff favourite store... Here

Lidl's my favourite not Aldi.

Can't fault the Workzone 140A inverter welder though.

Got a 3/8" Workzone router that's dead due to the chuck locking piece being broken. Also a 230V staple gun of their's from years back that literally went bang when I pulled the trigger.

The Festool one has three silicone type beads running down the back - doesn't tend to move anywhere once you put it down on a flat surface.
