Just re-built our 1930's semi; almost there now

Hello everyone,

We've just rebuilt our 1930's semi-detached property - a two-storey wrap-around extension went a bit awry and became a complete rebuild when the walls fell down and roof caved in... !

We've got ASHP, UFH, Solar PV, Loxone and MVHR in, not quite all working yet.

Cheers,
James

Sounds like a baptism of fire lol.

Welcome aboard :)

Have you built airtight and chased the low energy dragon ?

Possibly - none of the contractors involved really knew what PassivHaus was, but we've got an MVHR coming online soon, incredible amounts of insulation on the outer shell, no trickle vents, Solar PV, ASHP and now enormous debt :)

Absolutely thousands - anything you'd particularly like to see?

Knowing @Onoff of particular interest will be the point of collapse ;) but some before, during and after photos would be great.

including these things. We love a seeing photos on here - really brings things to life. Might be good if you could detail it all in a separate post in the relevant sub forum (see link) so that it can be more easily found by people who are looking at doing a similar project in the future:

And welcome to BuildHub!
