RichS
Does anyone who has had a passive slab poured know what slump range their concrete was in. I would guess within S2 - S3 but would appreciate a more specific answer.

Jeremy Harris
Sorry, haven't a clue, as it was all specced, signed off and installed by the same company, and there's nothing on any of the paperwork I have that gives that level of detail about the concrete spec. I'm not sure there are many who've done a DIY passive slab, which may well be why you're not getting answers.
lizzie
Sorry I don 't even understand what S2 or S3 is. Our slab was part of our frame package.

mvincentd
same as others.....structural eng' does not indicate anything for concrete spec beyond rc32/40.
Miek
I suspect the slump is not relevant for small house slab type jobs, mainly because of the extra cost / hassle of measuring it. For large commercial concrete pours where things have liabilities then that's another matter. Most folk know that a stiff mix is strong and adding too much water can weaken the mix..
