Alarm Cable First Fix - Yes or No

Recommended Posts

The Visonic ones now come with PSTN as standard but can use IP telephony - bit odd as it says for use where the PSTN may have been disabled due to a burglary but most houses have PSTN enabled broadband ...... unless you’re on Virgin cable and then the box is clearly marked on the outside of the house ..!!

Power consumption will depend not just on the base unit but also on the number and tours of device you connect. Alarms have battery backups in case of power failure so I imagine power consumption is low.

According to the installation manual the Premiere Elite 48 wired panel power consumption is 125mA. With a maximum battery charging current of 1A
