Magnetic plaster

nod

Recommended Posts

About five years ago I was asked by a local building company MD

if I would  do some of his barn conversion walls in magnetic plaster Children's rooms study kitchen etc Since then they have started offering it as an optional extra on some of there more pricey developments

which has got me thinking with our build It would be nice not to have a pin board in our office and reminders stuck to the fridge in the kitchen

Its quite pricey at £70 a bag )5 mtrs)

But not a fortune in the grand scheme of things

Has anyone else used or intending using this product

Nearest we got was magnetic PAINT in the playroom.

Yeah I thought was a bit gymicky

at first But it's quite impressive

I can place my Hilton line laser onto the magnetic plaster At 2kg that quite impressive

certaintainly enough to hold a framed picture

We used the magnetic plaster one one section of wall in the kitchen - very impressed. A completely different product to the magnetic paint.

Now it has been painted over it is now entirely invisible. We use tiny coloured neodymium magnets to pin things to it.

See this thread for details
