Treatment for patio

Recommended Posts

To add more detail, the patio consists of paver blocks and paver slabs (council) and is approximately 5m long by 2m wide. It's laid on a cement base and has been joint filled with kiln dried sand. I've cleaned it with brick cleaner and I'm now looking to put some sort of seal/waterproofer down to make the patio look finished

Need to know whether its concrete, porcelain or real stone.

Sealer isnt necessary on all, and in fact, isnt actually "necessary" on anything.

No matter how well sealed if you do decide to go that route, it'll always wear, and as such, will require maintenance if anything is applied.

In my case concrete paving slab, home made (wet mix, vibrated).

I'm also wondering how useful a sealant would be on my garage floor to prevent water that drips off the car from soaking in.  Concrete has not had any treatment or paint applied and has been there five years.
