materials agreed as a condition

Got an issue where the PO has pushed us to accepting a crap colour for our render as he believes it should reflect the agricultural purpose of the original building, to speed things up we just accepted as he has not removed the PP development and this should allow us to change colour once signed off by building Inspector. The condition only states 'the condition is discharged subject to implementation'..so not in perpetuity.  Building Inspector has suggested just doing it the colour we want in the first place as he is only interested in technical.

Anyone got ten penneth on this?

You will need to submit and seek formal approval of the proposed render prior to it being applied… whatever final finish you choose. So that does not mean just building and applying what you want as per the BCO’s advice. There is a reason why Planning and Building Control are separate departments and processes.

The building inspector won’t care what your house looks like As long as it meets regs

We are part of a farm that is listed

Planners tried dictating that The render should be Oatmeal in colour We went ahead and did it Stirling white
