Squiffy corner

Recommended Posts

I did the boarding and whilst a bit out I can’t believe I was this far out .

As you can see the square corner twists as it gets lower to the floor . As I plan an upstand tile at the base it will either be on the piss or have a chunky 10mm gap at one end . If I leave this can a plasterer fix this ? I.e straighten the edge and blend in ? . As said at least 10mm out at the base ; too much for a plasterer to correct ?

I would be tempted to knock the beading off this corner and re set it correctly square and fill the majority with bonding and get a new skim put on. But @nod will be along shortly to tell you the correct way to do this ?

Going to try and get this thread locked for 24 hours, and then never unlocked.

I have found out how to make my tool 12 inches long.

Fold it in half.

Don't you dare get my squiffy thread locked!

Get yourself a couple of bevel gauges in different sizes, for this sort of thing for sure. Very useful.

No need now. All corners done. I'll get plasterer to fix it next time he's in
