Proper way to do a double 90deg gutter offset

Recommended Posts

I need to replace this bodged bit of gutter.

As you can see there is an offset in the gutter line - and the offset is about 130mm.

My problem is that using two standard 90 degree corners, even if I butt them right up to one another, creates too much of an offset. As far as I can make out, it would end up with an offset of something like 260mm. Eg dimensions for Polypipe:

Is there a "proper" way of doing this - am i obliged to go for a solvent weld system?

Don’t use screws!  Basically one bend as normal, second one has to be cut immediately at the dot at the top of the s line. Then clip it to the other one as if it was a bit of gutter

if you get desperate it is possible to heat up and reform the bend, squeeze it and cut it to mate with the second one. They don’t male street gutter bends

final potion use 135 bends and a bit of lead to redirect water over the missed bit

Thanks. Do you mean cut on this sort of line?

Doesn't this mean that you are trying to fit one bit inside the other when they are actually the same diameter - or is correcting that what you mean when you suggest deforming it by heat?
