wood cracks - can use easifill?

Hi All,

I recently painted my doors (which had been previously stripped) with alkali resisting primer (per the instructions of using the type of paint removing paste). I have one coat on the wood work so far and will go for another coat, but I have noticed some cracks in the wood work. Can I use easifill to fill the cracks or would it be best to get a wood filler? I'm guessing painting/filling the crack with paint is not ideal!

Any advice would be appreciated.

Nope ... go to Toolstation and get their wood filler in the small tubs.  Great stuff, easy to sand and doesn’t show through paint.

thank u!

I had a look at toolstation, there are so many, can you please recommend one please?

Countsink some holes then plug and screw it back. Then fill the holes.

Decorators caulk along what should be a smaller gap.
