Peter_J5
Hi guys, I've just had plans drawn for a 6x6m rear extension. Im in the process of working out my budget. Friends and family are going to do all the work. Except ground works. So I'll need a builder for that. Anyone have an idea of what I should expect to pay, for 1m deep foundations, damp course, semi engineering brick layer, hardcore, damp proof membrane, insulated concrete base and screed. (Basically everything below the brick work) There are no drains in the way so pipe work should be minimal. I'm in the midlands if that makes much difference. Any rough idea would be great. Thanks. Hi Peter. To get the best out of BH then consider posting your drawings. This way you'll get better / focused feed back, maybe a few tips that could save you money. Flat roof with lantern and doors and windows on one side. Nothing too exciting I'm afraid.
