ok so lets skip the im new here i need help sh*te a bit about me and my partner so im an industrial painter and my partner Alison is a nurse we have been looking for a house for a few years finally found a place that has every thing we want only its not really we can just imagine it being what we want its a 1920 ish build that's well very damp and very out of date simple put renovation back to brick work in and out

 

also always wanted to get into property if all goes to plan we could be looking to buy an investment project or buy to rents next year after the bulk of our home is done 

 

I'm no expert at any trades but i have been around and gained experience with many trades so i am looking to do some work myself but not to much as i do work full time and Alison does also plus as i mentioned I'm no expert anyways that's about it really apart from a warning that my grammar is bad

The best way to start here is with one simple question - such as (say)  How do we dry this wall out ?  And perhaps post some photographs.
