Do you want to do it?

who decided this was a good idea or necessary for approval?

If you can show that it is the reverse of sustainable, for example, a few planners might listen to alternatives that are greener.

I am not over keen on them, but I look out onto stony ground, then a stone wall, I think a bit of green, on the shed roof, will help.

Not sure how much soil it will need for one of the succulents I have, it seems to grow like a weed on concrete slabs.

We did not have to bag/wrap our asbestos as it went into the skip, that saved a ton of work.

 

Well worth asking for a covered skip to save you all the work.

You should still bag any debris, for your own benefit.   Wet it then it can be brushed up. Otherwise the dust could be the riskiest part of the whole operation.....not that you'd know for many years.
