Siemens IQ700 Ovens Stuck in Demo Mode Help

Help! Our ovens are stuck in Demo mode! The manual suggests there is a turn off demo mode in settings but there isn't anything in settings that mentions demo mode and we can't get it off and basically have no ovens to cook anything in!

 

I spent the whole night trawling through manuals and Google and can't find the answer and Siemens isn't contactable til Monday.

1. Press on/off button

2. Press the “Heating mode” button.

3. Turn selector switch until top/bottom heating is displayed

4. Press the > button

5. Turn selector switch until 30 °C is displayed

6. Press key button for 4 sec

7. Now press the on/off button again.

I saw this but the step 6 is problematic. The only key button is the childlock so all this does is turn the childlock on and then when you turn it back on you have to hold it down to turn the childlock off....

Weird .... I assume you’ve tried rhe “turn it off and on again..??” from the power ..?

Yep. I'm going to try something else just had an epiphany.

Done! Factory reset and literally turned it off by taking fuse out and completely.

I'm confused why an oven has a demo mode? Does it roll the pastry and do the washing up or just sit there looking hot?
