eandg Posted November 6, 2020 Share Posted November 6, 2020 We've (more or less) fully costed our build and used that figure when submitting for our Building Warrant. The Building Standards officer is however saying the costs appear low (which we'd expect given self-managing, bit of DIY) and we should use BCIS rates to calculate the warrant fee. At this point we'd be happy to pay the extra to get it moving however the BCIS calculation looks like it costs at least £350 so we'd rather not do that. Are there any, cheaper alternatives?
