On a semi PDR allows upto 3m, and the neighbourhood consultation scheme may extend that to 6m.

On a detached PDR allows upto 4m and the neighbourood consultation scheme may extend that to 8m.

Been following this with interest.

 

Lots of good points by all so thank you.

 

Before you progress / spend too much time / get stressed have you talked to a local Builder / Architect / Water board who knows where the drainage runs. There may be a reason for not building out too far in that if you have to deal with a public sewer, then all this could be a mute point as it could cost you a fortune to build over a public drain?

 

Sometimes it worth looking ahead to make sure your efforts are going to bear fruit at the end of the day.
