Breakfast Bar - for Kitech Island

New to the forum and looking for some help regarding fixing an wooden breakfast bar to a quartz worktop. We have had a few quotes and recommend that the below design would work - with CT1 bonding between the quartz and walnut wood, with not additional fixtures with 150mm overlap on the quartz island and 210mm floating from the side. I wanted to get some experienced input from a wider community on this, and also the best way to stop the wood warping. We have purchased good quality Walnut worktop that has been oiled in prep. for cutting and joinery.

Any advice, on this project is appreciated. Attached are some drawing to help illustrate the exact framing of the wood around the kitchen island.
