The drawing call for fireline plasterboard throughout, but do you think moisture resistant plasterboard would be better for a utility room? Thanks! Fire board on a utility ceiling won’t be of any benefit Unless you are creating a fire compartment within the room Fire door and frame also If there is an integral garage we often carry the utility ceiling through if it backs onto the garage But would always be two layers of 15 mil Or if over three floors to protect a steel It will cost about a fiver a board to use FL So if it’s only a couple of boards it’s not worth the phone call Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
