Kommerling Aluclad UPVC

An Aluclad UPVC option. Has anyone heard of these? Would perhaps be good to compare against Internorm.

My first thoughts without looking at them is that with only a 70mm profile you won’t get very good insulation values or good glazing options.

I think they do a slightly thicker profile triple glazed, seems to be a few different options. I wonder how prices compare to Internorm for example. I suspect the U values will be better with Internorm but wondering whether there is huge price difference.

 

Edit triple glazed seems as low as 0.85 brochure attached.

I'd have to go and look at the profiles and find more info as there seems to be very limited feedback from what I can find.

I have the  KOEMMERLING 88PLUS profile. Not alu-clad though. Seems like a decent product, 6 chambers and at PH standard. Purchased direct from the continent at fraction of UK cost.

Oranjeboom, are you able to share this seller from the continent?  Did they install for you?  How confident are you in their enthusiasm and cost to address any future issues with them that you (hopefully won't, but) could have?
