Laying foul drainage piping: getting the angle right

Contemplating the minor challenge of our foul drainage piping : and came across this little video of how to ensure the correct angle of fall. It's brilliant Nice bit of gentle weewee extraction too.

Recon my laser spirit level set up correctly in the middle of the pipe will do fine.

But I betcha @Declan52 will tell me how to do the same more easily.

Depending how long your run is an offcut of 22mm timber taped to a 6ft level is handy for short bits. Likewise I use 10mm packers on an 800mm level for even shorter bits. When the bubble says level the gradient is good

Yeah, but did you shine the laser down the pipe - like Sean in the video?  Such a brilliant little idea - makes it  really easy to get the level of the gravel right......
