Having problem getting Warrantly Certificate of approval on completion

Hi, I took out a Protek warranty when started on our self-build journey. We had a successful completion inspection which just stated that for completion they required copies of commissioning/completion certificates for electricals, heating, air test etc etc etc. These were submitted in December but despite chasing them up a number of times still no responses. Now getting very worried as will need this for CIL exemption form 7 part 2 (as no  mortgage, yippee!, and its almost definite I wont get the VAT reclaim approved in time as I've not submitted that yet)

 

anyone else had success or problems with Protek?

I know somebody that had issues, but IIRC it was more the surveyors used rather than Protek itself.  At the end of the process issues with much earlier surveys came, up that they had not raised before and which were difficult to rectify when the build was finished.  In the end Protek were pragmatic and helped him sort it out.

Thank you for that - I do seem to get Protek saying its the surveyors they used, the surveyors saying it Protek. I will just keep nagging them then.
