It says a liquidation and they have been running this auction every couple weeks with similar stuff for last few weeks. The last one finished on Tuesday and I am picking up Friday morning so will report back. I bought a mix of glass shower panels, radiators and mirrors. The glass shower panels and mirrors went at opening value but radiators went approx £20-30 over opening bids. Remember to add up all costs though inc vat to be added.

Have been watching this this morning wrt my main bathroom due for replacement in the autumn.

The most interesting item for me was freestanding baths which seem to be going at about 1/4 to 1/3 of retail, and things like cabinets and mirrors. Wall mounted tall thin rads are inexpensive.

And there are still some interesting looking kitchen taps to be sold that are £250 Soak jobbies that look like going for perhaps £50. On those I think I prefer to buy online from suppliers I have used before.

Ahhhhh a punter !

This could just be your lucky day !!!!!

Actually, I did ask my brother, but dragging his heels with his extension.

Just wasted 1hr of my life going through all those lovely auction listings ("Do I need a red double decker bus? NO! But look at the price!!!!...........")

If anyone needs scaffolding wants to start a scaffolding company: https://www.bidspotter.co.uk/en-gb/auction-catalogues/timed/eddisons/catalogue-id-eddiso10483#lot-f9947397-6d07-44fd-9ea9-aa5400fe689d

Not sure where they are based, but potentially a big saving if you have a large build/have space to store the gear you don't need!

Just bought some taps from the second one. About 6 lots.

So, pay by Credit Card, and collect in person.

Bankruptcy auction at Keter Sheds.

They are the people who supply high quality plastic sheds, that are not the most secure in the world but last forever.

https://www.bidspotter.co.uk/en-gb/auction-catalogues/timed/william-george-auctions/catalogue-id-wi412627

Finishes tomorrow, the venue is in Peterborough, the prices seem to be about 40-50% of the best new price you would find.

Personally I would consider one but I would want to inspect first.

Toolstation.

£25 off a £150 order until June 23rd.

https://www.toolstation.com/news/article/june-promo-25-off-150-spend?&promo_name=FlashBanner&promo_id=promoBanner&promo_creative=25offPromo&promo_position=Desktop

JUNE19 code, redeemable online, in store or by phone.

Check details first.

(Just used this to get 25 off this rather tasty (bushed)  Makita drill-driver set which comes with the more powerful tools within the Makita options, and 3 x 3.0Ah batteries, and a 22 min charger, and a MakPak. Good for £215, since it was already reduced from 299 to 239 before the 25 extra off.

I went thIs morning to Sheffield to collect my booty from the second of these sales, and it turned out better I am glad to say.

I bought these 3 x kitchen mixer taps for stock for refurbs.

and these bathroom counter taps incl. a spare plus a waterfall bath filler for my upstairs bathroom redo in Sept.

Total paid including the rather hefty charges and VAT, was about 35% of retail, which is OK but I would not want to pay much more in an auction.

I would go again, but I am only 45 minutes away.

Ikea

10% extra off sale prices for Ikea Family members until June 30th, says the mailer I received.

In my experience you can sign up to Ikea Family when you visit the shop, and use it at once.

Up to 80% off at Bathstore.

https://www.bathstore.com/sale

Includes things like mosaic and tiles at -80%, but about 300 separate lines. Designer Rads look interesting.

Not baths by the look of it.

 It’s a fire sale
