Well little update.
Had the foul drain installed over the last week, 2.5m down in the road and 7m of piperun. A week to complete except for the manhole access on my ground.

lots more digging and 1.85m of concrete rings installed my me and my wife.

done bloody well I might add. Haha.

Just wanting to spread some happiness with progress.

Looks good. Have those rings got steel rungs on them ..? It gets very odd with the rules about restricting access over a certain depth and BCO may want something adding to the top of the brickwork so beware.

 Good job Lee

It must have been tough going in last weeks heavy rain

Very tough.

my ground is soil for the first 18” then pretty much sticky clay....

needless to say I grew quite a few inches just walking across the ground. Lol

Hi,

no I got given the choice of st ps or not so went for no steps. It’s 1.75m down to the bottom so a small ladder will get you access.

Have got about another 12ish inches to build up yet so just a brick topper to it to fit the cover.

Well done from a fellow-foul-drain struggler.

I dont think much of your outside toilet, though. The one used by your garden gnomes: the one on the concrete plinth. You could at least provide them with some steps, or at worst a ladder.

Come on, shape up!?

Haha,

it’s called a long drop style loo!!!

misplace ya footing an it’s defo a long drop!!
bit rough around the seating area tho,

tends to chafe a tad!!!
