Waterproofer : which to snog, marry or avoid?

Recommended Posts

I've been using this for ages and the exposed concrete I've done with it is really standing up well. Shed base, sliding gate post bases and track base. Also used on the bathroom floor. What I like about it is it has de-aerating properties so less tamping needed to get the air out. You just don't seem to get a lot of air bubbles as you tamp.

(I didn't use it where I cast the shower base to falls, instead I went for a strong, "resinous", SRB heavy, exotic mix based on 10mm pea shingle after much research).

Also use it in mortar and render as required. I think Sika make it for them.
